World Cup Viewing Party 2023

• MBU hosted two watch events during the 2022 World Cup. Viewing the games together was a great way to build a love for the game, and connect to the global soccer village.
  
• The first was held on November 27th at the Bayview Community School Library for the Canada vs Croatia match. Community members cheered on as Aphonso Davies scored Team Canada’s first ever World Cup goal with a spectacular header!
  
• On December 18th, MBU also hosted a watch event for the 2022 World Cup Final (France vs Argentina) at the Mahone Bay Centre. The atmosphere was electrifying, watching what many would say was the most exciting soccer game ever! The room exploded with jubilation as history was made with Argentina winning the cup.
